# Introduction

> SaveMate is a browser extension that detects, downloads, and manages video streams from across the web.

SaveMate is the universal video stream detector for your browser. It automatically identifies HLS, DASH, MP4, WebM, and 16+ video formats on any website, letting you download, convert, cast, and organize your video content.

## Get started
